Rope access working allows our highly qualified and technically outstanding team members to access hard to reach locations without the use of scaffolding, cradles or powered access. Because we don’t have to use this expensive equipment, rope access is a much more affordable way of dealing with many jobs as well as causing minimal disruption to our clients. At SAS Rope & Rail Ltd we care about the environment and don’t want to cause any harm to the spaces we work in: this is another great reason to opt for rope access working methods, as the environmental impact is minimal.
We only work with the most experienced and qualified rope technicians. All our technicians are trained and assessed by the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA). Our technicians are also led by highly experienced supervisors with a level 3 IRATA qualification. In addition to this, our team are all CSCS card holders, and are trained and assessed in IPAF, confined spaces (NC4 High Risk), and First Aid. We have also recently gained the STE4 Structural Examination qualification (Network Rail).
Using their wealth of expert knowledge, all of our technicians will complete comprehensive safety assessments prior to commencing work on your project. You will be issued with detailed rescue procedures, risk assessments (RAMS), work methods and a general overview of the company’s intended approach to the task. Finally, we will also visit you on site and take the time to gather your specific requirements to determine the very best approach to your job.
